The registration fee covers entry into the three-day event, dash plaque, Friday and Saturday night live bands, Saturday night meal, Sunday breakfast, Sunday Church Service, and chances for various door prizes. PRE-registered rodders (before July 1st) receive the above AND a free Frog Follies event T-Shirt.
All street rods must be Pre ’49 and have some sort of modification to the vehicle that was not available to the car from the factory. Any vehicle 1949 and up will not be admitted in the Rod Run area. Vehicles that are not accepted are trikes, Jeeps, motorized coffins etc. Any vehicle that does not meet the above requirements will be asked to park in the spectator parking. E’ville Iron Street Rods Ltd. has the right to reject any entry.
During the 2023 Frog Follies, the Evansville Wartime Museum will make available their original WWII P-47 Thunderbolt plane for photos with your street rod. For a mere $20 donation you can have a picture with this gorgeous piece of history. The Museum is just a few miles south of the 4H Center located near the intersection of Hwy 41 and Petersburg Road. The Wartime Museum will have a display at the Frog Follies with sign-up details.
Cost: $7.00 per person (not car load) and children under 12 are free. Tickets are purchased at gate.
Admittance: Spectators should enter at Gate 1 (off of Old Boonville Hwy) or Gate 3 (off of Old State Road)
Parking: Parking crews will direct spectator vehicles to parking area.
Hours: Friday and Saturday 8:00 am to 4:00 pm and Sunday 8:00 am to 2:00 pm.
No commercial entries will be accepted after July 1st, due to space limitations. Call the Frog Hotline (812-428-3764) to see if space is available before mailing your registration. It may take a day to get back to you. We appreciate your patience.
Vendors should commit to being set up on SET UP DAY – Thursday, the day before the event starts.
E’ville Iron Street Rods, Ltd. will not guarantee that you will get the space you want by showing up on Friday or Saturday.

General Info: Once racer is weighed in, it will be put in holding lanes, assigned a number, and heat scheduled, and it cannot be altered. Eliminations will be run of all class winners to determine top eliminator winner in each division i.e. One valve cover winner, One oil pan winner.
Classes will be run for kids through 13 years of age and adults in each division. Only one entry per person.

Stock Class: Any stock OEM valve cover/oil pan — no cutting or modifications except paint scheme and wheel and chassis attachment. Complete stock gasket surface must be maintained.
Custom Class: Any aftermarket valve cover/oil pan (Moroso, Cal Custom, Edelbrock, etc.) must retain stock gasket surface. Painting, wheels, breathers, are optional to builder.
Outlaw Class: Any butchered, chopped, sectioned, frenched or modified so as not to pass stock or custom class valve cover/oil pan is acceptable. Enough of an original valve cover or oil pan must remain so that the JUDGE can determine it was at one time attached to an internal combustion engine.
* Outlaw entrants can be less or more than 4 wheels.
** Outlaw entrants can have a scrub line less than 1/2 inch, but will run under penalty.
Prizes will be awarded as follows in each class. First place – $25.00, second place – $10.00, third place – $5.00. Trophies for top eliminator valve cover and top eliminator oil pan and for the most dynamite-looking racer will be awarded at the discretion of the event promoter, E’ville Iron. Event sanctioned by the NSFA.
Camping at the Vanderburgh 4-H Center during Frog Follies is for vendors and registered street rodders only. To make reservations for the main campground (with full hookup) call 812-867-6217. For Tent and RV supplemental spaces (some electric/no sewer) call 812-428-FROG.
A few things to remember:

Personal-owned handicap carts are allowed on the grounds PROVIDED that they are truly for handicap use and must be registered at the Information Booth. Any handicap cart or scooter driving more than 4 MPH on the grounds will be asked to slow down and repeated offenses will curb your cart or scooter.
E’ville Iron Street Rods, Ltd. does not allow golf carts to be brought on the grounds to use during the Frog Follies. This policy is strictly and uniformly enforced. The number of spectators continues to grow and the pathways will not accommodate all of the people and golf carts.
Handicap carts, golf carts, scooters, bicycles, and any other pleasure-riding apparatus are not allowed in the Hot Rod areas.

What year of street rod can register for the Rod Run?
Street Rod must be made before 1949.
How many cars register for the Rod Run?
The show has approximately 3000 registrations each year.
When should I receive my confirmation letter?
If you registered on line you will receive your letter via email at time of your registration. If you pre-registered by completing a pre-registration form and provided an email address letters will be emailed the first of the year. If you pre-registered by completing a pre-registration form and did not provide an email address or did not register on line letters will be mailed around the end of April.
What is the cost of the event?
Pre-registration before July 1st is $25.00 per vehicle and includes a Frog Follies T Shirt, dash plaque, chances at giveaways, the opportunity to win cash prizes, Friday and Saturday night live bands, Saturday evening meal, games, Sunday morning donuts and church service.
Is there trailer parking?
Yes. Enter Gate 3 to be directed to trailer parking.
What should I do if I bring a car different from what I registered?
When you check in at registration let the volunteers know that you have a different vehicle.
